This privacy policy informs you, in accordance with the GDPR, how Tina Janscheidt (owner Tina Janscheidt, Hamburg) processes personal data on this website. You'll learn which data is collected for which purpose, on what legal basis this happens and what rights you have as a data subject – such as access, correction, deletion and objection. We usually answer requests about your data within 30 days.

Note: This is a courtesy English translation. The legally binding version is the German privacy policy. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.

1) Introduction and contact details of the controller

1.1 We're pleased that you're visiting our website and thank you for your interest. Below we inform you about how we handle your personal data when you use our website. Personal data here means all data with which you can be personally identified.

1.2 The controller for the data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Tina Janscheidt, Tina Janscheidt sole proprietorship, c/o IP-Management #11009 Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 18, 20459 Hamburg, Germany, tel.: +4915255444265, email: info@tinajanscheidt.de. The controller for the processing of personal data is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of processing personal data.

1.3 For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g. orders or enquiries to the controller), this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the string "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser bar.

2) Data collection when visiting our website

When using our website for information purposes only, even if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect such data as your browser transmits to the page server (so-called "server log files"). When you visit our website, we collect the following data that is technically necessary for us to display the website to you:

  • Our visited website
  • Date and time at the time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/referrer from which you came to the page
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used (where applicable in anonymised form)

The processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The data is not passed on or otherwise used. However, we reserve the right to subsequently check the server log files should concrete indications point to unlawful use.

3) Cookies and cookie consent tool

3.1 General information on cookies

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted again after you close the browser (so-called "session cookies"), some of these cookies remain on your device longer and enable page settings to be saved (so-called "persistent cookies"). In the latter case, you can find the storage period in the overview of the cookie settings of your web browser.

Insofar as personal data is also processed by individual cookies used by us, the processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR either to perform the contract, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in the case of consent given, or pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to safeguard our interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the page visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually about accepting cookies, or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally. Please note that the functionality of our website may be limited by not accepting cookies.

3.2 Overview of the cookies used

Below is an overview of the cookies used by us and our third-party providers as well as their lifespan and purpose:

Cookie name Provider Purpose Lifespan Category
cc_digitalofficenrw Own (cookie consent) Stores your cookie preferences 182 days Necessary
_ga, _ga_* Google Analytics 4 Distinguishing users 2 years Statistics
_gid Google Analytics 4 Distinguishing users 24 hours Statistics
_fbp Meta (Facebook) Identifying the browser for advertising purposes 90 days Marketing
_fbc Meta (Facebook) Click ID after clicking a Meta ad 90 days Marketing
_gcl_* Google Ads Conversion tracking 90 days Marketing

3.3 Cookie consent tool (Cookieconsent)

To obtain effective user consent for cookies requiring consent and cookie-based applications, this website uses the open-source cookie consent tool "Cookieconsent" (version 3.1.0, author: Orest Bida, licensed under the MIT license). The tool is displayed to users when the page is loaded in the form of an interactive user interface on which consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be granted by ticking boxes.

Through the use of this tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user grants the corresponding consent by ticking boxes. The tool thus ensures that only such cookies/services are set/executed on the respective user's device for which consent has been given.

The tool sets exclusively technically necessary cookies to store your cookie preferences. In principle, no personal user data is processed here. If in individual cases personal data (such as the IP address) is nevertheless processed, this is done pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in a legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our website.

A further legal basis is also Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. We are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically non-necessary cookies dependent on the respective user consent.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. You can revoke your consent once given at any time by calling up the cookie consent tool again via the button in the footer.

3.4 Google Consent Mode v2

We use Google Consent Mode v2, a functionality of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). The consent mode controls the behaviour of Google services (Google Analytics, Google Ads) based on your selection made in the cookie banner.

If you reject statistics or marketing cookies, your browser nevertheless transmits so-called "pings" to Google. These pings only contain the information that no consent was given, as well as aggregated, anonymous data. Google uses these pings to support conversion modelling anonymously — no personal data or cookies are set in the process.

The legal basis for the processing associated with consent is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without consent, we process only anonymous aggregated data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in measuring the reach of our website.

4) Contacting us

When you contact us (e.g. via the contact form or email), personal data is collected. Which data is collected in the case of using a contact form is evident from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of answering your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in answering your request pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If your contact aims at concluding a contract, an additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data is deleted after your request has been finally processed. This is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter concerned has been conclusively clarified and provided that no legal retention obligations stand in the way.

5) Quick test: AI visibility check

On our website we offer you a free quick test with which you can check how your company is mentioned in AI models (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini). For this you transmit the following data to us:

  • First name
  • Email address
  • Company name
  • Website URL

We process this data to check your website using third-party AI APIs (OpenAI Ireland Ltd., Anthropic PBC, Google Ireland Limited) and to send you the result by email. For this, parts of your website URL and your company name are transmitted to these third-party providers. The transmitted data contains no personal data of yours (except that which is publicly available on your own website).

In addition, your data is transmitted to our email marketing service provider MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Ground Floor, 71 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, Ireland), which handles the sending of the report and, where applicable, subsequent information emails.

The legal basis for the processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you grant by clicking the corresponding checkbox in the quick test form. You can revoke your consent at any time by email to info@tinajanscheidt.de or via the unsubscribe link in every email.

A transfer to third-party providers in the USA (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) is carried out on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR and the adequacy decisions of the EU Commission (Data Privacy Framework).

6) Web analytics and tag management

6.1 Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). Google Tag Manager is a solution with which we can manage so-called website tags via an interface and thus integrate, for example, Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our online offering.

Google Tag Manager itself is a cookieless domain that does not itself collect any personal data. However, it ensures the triggering of other tags, which in turn can collect data. If a deactivation is made at domain or cookie level by the user, it remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. We have included separate sections on the functioning and data processing practices of the third-party services integrated via the Tag Manager.

The legal basis for the use of the Tag Manager is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the central technical management of the tags on our website.

For more information on data processing by Google, please see Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

6.2 Google Analytics 4

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", which are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation activated (default in GA4). Your IP address is therefore shortened by the last octets before any storage. A direct assignment to your person is therefore not possible.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with further services associated with website use and internet use.

The processing is carried out on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You grant this consent via the cookie consent tool by selecting the "Statistics / Analytics" category. You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie consent tool.

User data is stored at user level for a maximum of 14 months, after which the data is automatically deleted.

Measurement ID (property): G-37YEMRLGCK

For more information on terms of use and data protection, please see: https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can also prevent tracking by Google Analytics by installing a browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

7) Online marketing

7.1 Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram Pixel)

This website uses the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta"). The Meta Pixel allows us to measure conversions, create target groups for our ads and obtain detailed analyses of the use of our website.

As soon as you come to our website and grant your consent to the marketing category via the cookie consent tool, the Meta Pixel is called directly by Meta and can store a cookie (e.g. _fbp) on your device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or Instagram, or visit a corresponding website while logged in, your visit to our website is noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous for us, i.e. it does not allow us to draw conclusions about the identity of users. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Meta data policy.

Pixel ID: 1315434080093670

The legal basis for processing your data is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie consent tool.

As the data transmission to Meta takes place in the USA, it is possible that US authorities may access your data. The data transfer to the USA is carried out on the basis of standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR and on the basis of the adequacy decision of the EU Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Meta is certified under the Data Privacy Framework.

7.2 Meta Conversions API (server-side tracking)

In addition to the Meta Pixel, we use the Meta Conversions API (CAPI). The Conversions API is a server-side interface through which we transmit conversion data (e.g. lead enquiries, purchases) directly from our server to Meta, instead of sending them exclusively via the browser pixel.

The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

The following data is transmitted via the Conversions API from our server to Meta, provided you have previously granted corresponding consent via the cookie consent tool (category "Marketing"):

  • Your email address (in hashed form via SHA-256)
  • A unique event ID (to avoid duplicate counting with the browser pixel)
  • The URL on which the event was triggered
  • A timestamp
  • Your IP address
  • Your browser user agent
  • The cookies _fbp and _fbc (where available)
  • For purchases: order value and currency

The data transmission takes place via a TLS-encrypted connection. Personal data such as email addresses is hashed before transmission (SHA-256) and is only accessible to Meta in this pseudonymised form. We also use the "Limited Data Use" (LDU) parameter, which additionally restricts the scope of processing by Meta.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The Conversions API only becomes active if you have consented to the marketing category in the cookie consent tool. You can revoke your consent at any time by calling up the cookie consent tool again.

Here too, the data transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR and on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

7.3 Google Ads conversion tracking

This website uses the online advertising program "Google Ads" and, within the framework of Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"). We use the Google Ads offering to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites.

The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad displayed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. These cookies generally lose their validity after 90 days and do not serve to identify you personally.

All the processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading out information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

7.4 Google Marketing Platform

This website uses the online marketing tool Google Marketing Platform of the operator Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("GMP"). All the processing described above is only carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

8) Email marketing

8.1 MailerLite

For sending our newsletter and transactional emails (e.g. quick test reports, onboarding emails after a purchase) we use the service MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Ground Floor, 71 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, Ireland).

The following data is transmitted to MailerLite, provided you sign up for one of our lists or use the quick test: first and last name, email address, company name, website URL and, where applicable, other information provided in the form.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and our legitimate interest in effective communication with customers and prospects pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in every email or by email to info@tinajanscheidt.de.

MailerLite is certified under the Data Privacy Framework. A transfer to third countries is carried out on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses.

9) Payment processing

9.1 Stripe

For processing payments on our website, we use the payment service provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland).

When you make a payment via Stripe, your payment data (e.g. name, address, credit card information, bank details) is transmitted directly to Stripe. We ourselves do not receive or store any complete payment data. After a successful payment, we receive a confirmation from Stripe with a transaction ID, amount, currency and your email address.

The legal basis is the performance of the contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
